Extended Time (ET) is a quality supervised recreation program offered to children who are enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Activities include homework time, gym games, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and more.  An afternoon snack and drink is provided daily. 

Both before and after school programs are available at the following locations:

• Chesak Elementary School
• Conley Elementary School
• Leggee Elementary School
• Mackeben Elementary School
• Martin Elementary School
• Huntley Park District - South Classroom (Marlowe & Heineman 6^th - 8^th grades)

​As of July 24, 2020 we have reopened registration for 3 day and 4 day ET at all sites.  Middle School ET Registration remains suspended until, or if, additional transportation can be secured.  We are also exploring additional transportation options for our Middle School ET program as we are currently at our maximum capacity for transportation.  We are working closely with the school district to address the various needs of the community within these new restrictions to offer the best service we can.  We are facing significant challenges due to mandated physical space and group size restrictions and guidance continues to change frequently.  This is an unprecedented year and we continue to adapt to the quickly changing guidelines and restrictions.  Certain services we once offered may be unavailable as we continue to work through these various challenges.  It is highly recommend that parents find an alternative as we may not be able to meet the specific needs of each family.

Now that program registration has resumed, formal Registration will close on Wednesday, August 12 or when program becomes full, whichever comes first.  Registration will reopen on Monday, September 7, only if there are remaining vacancies.

*If you are registering for an ET Program other than 5 days a week,
you must register in person at the REC Center.

AM	6:30a until the start of school
PM	After School until 6:00p

             

There is no E.T. Program on days that School District #158 is not in session. 

The Huntley Park District will offer School’s Out Activity Days on certain non-school days and holidays for an additional fee.  Winter Break and Spring Break Camps will also be available at an additional cost.

Registration must be on an ET Registration Form and in person.  A ^$55 non-refundable registration fee and the first month’s payment is due when registering.

Due to the high demand and limited space, a ^$25 cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations. Registration fee and first month’s payment is due at registration.

Please note that all institute, in-service and holidays are not included with your monthly ET rate for the 2020-2021 school year.

** If your child will be attending the ET program less than 5 days per week, you must indicate which days your child will be attending on the registration form.

ONCE REGISTERED, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SET UP AUTOMATED BILLING VIA CHECKING/CREDIT CARD FOR FUTURE PAYMENTS.
