Jr. Red Raiders Feeder Basketball
Tryout to play competitive basketball through Huntley Park District’s Jr. Red Raider feeder program. This program is designed for 4th – 8th Grade Boys & 3rd - 8th Grade Girls that are Huntley Park District or Huntley School District 158 residents.
SEASON
The feeder season runs from October through Mid-March. Teams will receive two (2) 90 minute practices a week & play approximately 15-20 league games plus additional one-day shootouts and tournaments throughout the season.
Boys feeder divisions compete in the DYTBL (Dupage Youth Travel Basketball League) and the girls feeder divisions compete in the NIFBA (Northern Illinois Girls Basketball Association).
COST
The total registration fee per player is: $675. Payment can be made in full at the time of registration OR payments can be spread out over 3 installments (1st payment - $225/ 2nd payment- $225/ 3rd payment - $225). Your preferred payment method will be indicated once your child makes a team and registration occurs.
UNIFORMS
Boys - $165* for a complete uniform set (2 jerseys [1 Home + 1 Away], 2 shorts [1 Home + 1 Away], 1 reversible top, and 1 shooting shirt) plus a la carte items available through an online store.
Girls - $165* for a complete uniform set (2 jerseys [1 Home + 1 Away], 2 shorts [1 Home + 1 Away], 1 reversible top, and 1 shooting shirt) plus a la carte items available through an online store.
* Uniform cost is in addition to the registration fee. Fees for uniforms go through the uniform vendor directly. More information on uniforms and the cost per team will be given after teams are chosen.
TRYOUT INFORMATION
Two (2) tryout dates will be offered for every grade level. Players interested in trying out must pre-register. There is no cost to tryout. Players are encouraged to attend both tryout dates for the grade level they are currently enrolled in. To be eligible to be chosen for a team, players must attend at least one (1) tryout date.
