The Huntley Park District celebrates Commission Jim Blasky's decade of service as a member of the Park District Board. Over the past 10 years, Jim has had a key role in some of the great improvements the Huntley Community has seen within its parks and recreation activities.

Jim is also a member of the Huntley Historical Society and was instrumental in securing the use of the Sun Valley Farmhouse as the Historical Society’s base of operations.

As a Park Commissioner Jim’s influence in the expansion of the Warrington Park trails and its featured rest stops throughout Deicke Park, has been beneficial to residents and visitors alike.

Prior to becoming a Board member for the Huntley Park District, Jim worked in the parks and recreation field for many years throughout the state of Illinois.

“Commissioner Blasky has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Huntley Park District and his vision for the District is greatly appreciated” says Thom Palmer, Executive Director.

Please join the Huntley Park District in congratulating Jim Blasky on 10 years of service!
