For 30+ years the Seedlings Preschool has remained committed to providing children with a safe and healthy environment in which to develop essential skills that will serve as the cornerstone for lifelong learning. Through play based programming, children will acquire a sense of independence and
social skills while growing academically.
Monthly Tuition and Fees:
- 2 Day Week $140/$155
- 3 Day Week $ 160/$175
- 4 Day Week $ 180/$195
- Night Owl $85/$95
Registration $ 60/$70 non-refundable
At the time of registration a $60/$70 non-refundable fee and the first month's fees are due. Preschool fees will be Auto-Debited or added to your account on the 15th of each month beginning September 15, 2016 (for October) through April 15, 2017 (May). If you choose not to use Auto-Debit from a checking or savings account, payment is due on the 25th of each month. Example: October monthly fee is due September 25th. Your account MUST be kept current. If not, your child will not be able to attend preschool until fees are paid. All payments can be made and receipts printed at any time through your household account at huntleyparks.org.
Families with 2 or more children attending will receive a 10% discount on the second child’s tuition. Hours of Operation
- Morning Session: 9:00-11:30 a.m.
- Afternoon session: 12:15-2:45 p.m.
- Classrooms open at 8:55 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.
School begins on September 6, 2016. Seedlings Preschool follows the Huntley School District 158 calendar for days off.
Recognizing and praising acceptable behavior.
Redirecting a child’s attention and activity to provide the child an opportunity to use appropriate behavior.
Time outs are used as a last resort.
Children take turns providing snack for their entire class. Please bring napkins, juice boxes and a snack. We will only serve food purchased and prepared by grocery stores. The labeling must be on all packages. We will not accept products that contain nuts or peanuts. If the label states that the product was produced in a plant that uses nuts, we will not be able to use the snack.
Lunch Bunch is an extra fee program. A monthly calendar, giving the themes and dates for each session, is sent home each month. Registration is handled at the front desk. The cost of each session is $9.00 unless stated otherwise. Children bring their own lunch unless it is stated differently on the calendar.
Drop Off and Pickup
Children must be dropped off and picked up in their preschool classroom. Entrance to the preschool hallway is the main, west doors of the REC Center. There is a sign-in and sign-out form in each classroom. Children will only be released to persons listed as authorized on your child’s registration form. Teachers are required to ask see picture IDs from anyone they do not know.
