Cosman Cultural Center

Since it's construction in 2003 the Cosman Cultural Center has stood at the heart of Huntley's appreciation for the performing arts. Bands from Tom Chapen to the Huntley High School Jazz Band have wowed audiences, and performances ranging from our dazzling dance classes to the Community Theatre's inagraul performance of Steel Magnolias have graced the stage. Whether you're looking for a laugh at GreenRoom's Improv shows or one of the many production companies coming in to use the state of the art facility, you won't want to miss a single performance in the Cosman Cultural Center!

GreenRoom Improv

GreenRoom Productions is a semi-professional ensemble-based theater company that specializes in improvisation. GreenRoom produces a full season of shows each year including musicals, plays, improv, and original sketch comedy. If you've never seen GreenRoom before, their Unscripted Improv Show is the one to see. For years GreenRoom has been performing their unique improv show for thousands of people both old and young alike. Imagine an hour and a half of complete improvisation, a la Whose Line is it Anyway? Shows are the first Saturday of every month at 7:00pm in the Cosman Cultural Center at the Huntley Park District. Find out more at www.greenroomtheater.com.

Community Theatre

With it's inagraul production of Steel Magnolias, the Huntley Park District Community Theatre was greeted with a warm reception from the community. Hundreds came out to see the performance, with standing ovations at every show for the wonderful actresses, directors, and tech crew that helped make the show a huge success.
